Aranwa Sacred Valley Hotel & Wellness

Located an hour from Cusco in the Incas' Sacred Valley, built on the banks of the Vilcanota River and enclosed by the breathtaking Urubamba mountain range.

For views of the chapel and surrounding mountains, consider the casual Restaurant Rikhuna but if you have a serious craving for a fresh and warm pizza, nestled into the Colonial Kitchen of the Casona- Museum and wait as the pizzas are prepared in the historical kitchen using 17^th, 18^th and 19^th century utensils and then cooked in the huge clay over.

The remoteness of the hotel makes Aranwa an idyllic spot to relax and enjoy some downtime, where you can walk through the orchid-filled gardens, browse the art gallery and library, shop for alpaca scarves, watch a film in the private cinema or lounge by the infinity pool. However, the hotel has also been designed to celebrate Peru’s culture and landscapes, so once you’ve rested head out to explore the archaeological complex, Pisac with its large agricultural terraces divided into rectangular tiers.
