Operations Executive

Are you passionate about travelling? Keen to work in the travel and leisure industry? If yes, an exciting job opportunity has arisen to join Exsus Travel, a private luxury tailor-made tour operator, as an Operations Executive. This is an excellent opportunity to ensure pre-travel operations run smoothly for all clients, by liaising with the sales team, product, airlines, suppliers and clients. 

Sales Support Responsibilities

Checking all bookings at confirmation and finals stage, ensuring the smooth running of the booking from start to finish and eliminating errors which could be costly for the company.
Produce accurate documentation ensuring it is packaged and dispatched on time.
Assisting with telephone calls, taking messages as required.
Updating documentation as and when required
Airline co-ordination to include: Managing airline queues, airline contracts & ticketing in Amadeus, obtaining best possible classes & use of contracts to obtain the best possible fare. General trouble shooting, processing refunds through BSP and monitoring ADMs. Corresponding with airline consolidators.
Implement operational processes and streamline procedures as and when required, often taking on adhoc projects under own initiative.
Assisting sales team with operational problems such as BA strikes and foreign office advice.
Sending client receipts daily.

Office Management Responsibilities

Ensuring office H&S standards are in place.
Managing office stock levels.
Liaising with the building management company to ensure the office/building facilities are functioning as they should.
Post dispatch, manage courier bookings destined within the UK and overseas.
Organise & manage shop rota.
Manage & update holiday rotas and ensure Fam trip approval forms are completed by staff.

Additional duties

Ad hoc duties for Directors & owner to include personal hotel booking and minute taking.

Requirements for the role: 

Experience of working for a tour operator in a support role, knowledge of Amadeus or another GDS, ticketing & airline contracts experience. A team player who is also happy to work alone at times on their own initiative.
