Estancia Huechahue is located near Junin de los Andes, just a couple of hours north of Bariloche in northern Argentine Patagonia.

There are eight comfortable double and twin en suite rooms at Estancia Huechahue, split between three separate guest lodges. Each cabin also has a communal sitting room area.

Food and Drink

Delicious home-cooked meals, using home-grown ingredients, are usually served in the dining room of the main house and guests gather for drinks and to swap stories in front of the fire in the living room. 

Facilities

Make use of the 'quincho', with its open fire, perfect for 'asados', as well as music and dancing if the occasion arises!

Activities at Estancia Huechahue

Huechahue is home to around 80 horses, catering for all abilities from total beginners to expert riders. Riding trails here take in the spectacular Patagonian scenery which is unfeasibly beautiful, rugged and wild. Jane also runs other specialist riding trips including legendary rides across the Andes and from Estancia to Estancia. Please enquire for more information. In addition to horse riding, Estancia Huechahue also offers other activities including fishing, river floats, visits to Indian burial caves and hiking on stunning trails. This area is also one of the best places in South America to see condors.
