Rooms at Sanctuary on Camelback

Mountain Sanctuary on Camelback Mountain has 105 contemporary casitas and six private estate homes in warm desert hues with injections of bold colour in its cosy furniture. The marble bathrooms are generous in size and some feature outdoor bathtubs. Rooms have frette linens, body-contouring mattresses and oversized armchairs and sofas, and toiletries come courtesy of Red Flower.

Food and facilities

Elements is a celebration of farm-fresh American food with Asian influences, with an organic menu that changes according to the season and has an 800-bottle wine corridor. The restaurant’s dishes are also available in Jade, the hotel’s bar with its own patio. Rich in landscape views, there's a fire bowl to warm up cool evenings. Distinctive architecture, a meditation garden, a serene pond and a Watsu pool form the setting for the hotel’s relaxing spa, which offers Asian-inspired treatments in twelve indoor and outdoor rooms. There’s also a fitness centre, a movement studio with pilates and yoga, and five tennis courts.

Activities at Sanctuary on Camelback

Mountain Hiking, rock-climbing and cycling are just some of the possible activities in the area for outdoors lovers. Take a hands-on cookery class with the hotel’s culinary team or a photography class will make the most of the spectacular surrounds. Downtown Scottsdale has plenty of restaurants, theatres and museums and a particular fondness for public art– take a walking tour of the area to appreciate the town’s display.
