Hotel Overview

Sense of Place

The Resort at Paws Up is a place to get away from it all in the endless landscapes of Montana, and experience daily life on a cattle ranch.

Rooms at The Resort at Paws Up

There is a range of accommodation to choose from around the resort. From your own traditional ranch house or lodge to luxurious camps, whichever you choose you will be sleeping in style and comfort. They have a Western-chic style and feature king-sized beds with timber and iron headboards, hand-selected furnishings and artworks, and private decks. The luxury homes have kitchens, dining areas and outdoor hot tubs.

Food & Drink

As you would expect from a cattle ranch, you will be sampling rustic and hearty yet refined cuisine including locally-produced meats, which you can enjoy by the river. For sweet-toothed guests, there is also a s'moreologist who will create the best s'mores available while sat around a fire in the great outdoors or snuggled up by the fireplace at the bar.

Facilities

After a day in the great outdoors, head to the spa for a pampering massage or some relaxing yoga.

Activities at The Resort at Paws Up

There are over 100 miles of designated trails, and activities include cattle drives, horse riding (the equestrian centre here is certainly impressive), mountain biking, a grizzlyman fitness trail, rappelling, canoeing, nature hikes and hot air balloon rides, for a perfect way to experience Montana's wilds.

Whether you travel in the midst of summer or in winter, with snow on the ground, you will find plenty of ways to get outside and experience everything the ranch has to offer, from whitewater rafting to snowmobiling. Events throughout the year include culinary festivals, cowboy experiences, wilderness workshops and wellness weekends.
