Hotel Overview

Sense of Place

With not one but two pristine white beaches, Bougainvillea Barbados has a beautiful and serene natural setting – yet it’s only five minutes from the lively bars and restaurants of St Lawrence Gap.

Rooms at Bougainvillea Barbados

The attractive and stylish suites offer plenty of options to suit all guests, from studios to large and spacious two-bedroom suites, and encapsulate everything we love about the Caribbean, with a decor that reflects the natural beauty outside your window. That means a sandy colour scheme offset by ocean-blue textiles, lots of natural wood and wicker furniture, and mirrors and artwork fashioned from coral and other organic materials.

The bathrooms are decked out in smooth marble, there are kitchen, dining and living areas, for a home away from home feel, and you can enjoy garden, pool or sea views from your balcony or terrace.

Food & Drink

The Calabash Café offers superb Bajan-international fusion dishes all day, from blackened flying fish to teriyaki chicken. The Siam restaurant, as the name suggests, is inspired by Thai cuisine, and the delicious dinner menu includes classic Thai dishes like pad Thai, flavoursome green and red curries, and other Asian favourites like udon soup and chicken satay.

There are weekly Caribbean buffets, and in the evening, enjoy tropical Caribbean drinks by the pool – try the Bajan rum punch or the signature Bougainvillea Breeze cocktail.

Facilities

The Karma Fitness Centre is perfect for active guests, and is kitted out with state-of-the-art cardio and weights equipment and has a range of classes, from yoga to aerobics. You’ll have earned a rest after that, so get down to the Karma Spa & Salon, where body wraps, massages and scrubs are sure to help you relax. The resort also has no less than three pools.

Activities at Bougainvillea Barbados

From paddle boarding, kayaking and boogie boarding to windsurfing and kite-surfing, there’s no limit to the water sports you can indulge in. A Hobie Cat catamaran cruise is a more relaxing way to explore the island’s coastline, while submarine tours promise an unforgettable adventure beneath the waves. Horse riding, polo and deep sea fishing are all available too, while Harrison’s Cave and historic Bridgetown are among the area’s other highlights.

As well as all that, there is an exclusive kids club to keep children entertained.
