Hotel Overview

Sense of Place

Curtain Bluff sits in a sheltered bay on the southern coast of Antigua, and the landscapes are picture-postcard: all white sand beaches rising into forested hills.

Rooms at Curtain Bluff

Each room at Curtain Bluff looks out over the endless blue of the Caribbean Sea, and has a relaxed, breezy decor, with wooden ceiling panels, tiled floors and wicker furniture. Junior Suites overlook the serene Surf Beach and have lovely marble and tiled bathrooms, while the most exclusive rooms are perched on the bluff, with sweeping views over the bay.

Food & Drink

Dining, like everything else at Curtain Bluff, is a relaxed affair. The superb Seagrape restaurant opens onto the white sand of Bay Beach, and offers a delectable menu including suckling pig, lobster ravioli and pan-seared wahoo. The weekly beach barbecue lunches, accompanied by a steel drum band, are very popular. Similarly tempting is the stylish Tamarind restaurant, where delicious international breakfasts are followed by beautifully presented dinners.

Facilities

Overlooking the Caribbean, with views out to Montserrat and St Kitts, is the hotel’s stunning spa – a luxurious space where a range of wellness treatments are on offer, from body polishes to herbal aromatherapy.

Activities at Curtain Bluff

If you’re feeling energetic, there are several championship-quality hard tennis courts, and resident professionals who are on hand to help improve your serve, or even, if you’re feeling brave, take you on in a match.

The resort also has not one but two stretches of private beach, where you can laze beneath a sun lounger or enjoy some water sports: at the buzzy Bay Beach, you can join diving trips, try out water-skiing or jump in a kayak - while the quieter Surf Beach is perfect for getting away from the crowds and chilling out in a hammock.
