Bespoke Vacations to Egypt

With history and archaeology that date back more than two millennia, Egypt is a country like no other. From the iconic Pyramids to Tutankhamun and Cleopatra, on a luxury holiday to this fascinating land, discover ancient architecture, extraordinary monuments and culture-rich cities which will help you paint a picture of one of the world’s greatest ancient civilisations.

In the country’s capital, Cairo, a visit to the iconic Pyramids and Sphinx at Giza is a must-do. Admire the stunning structure of the Great Pyramid of Khufu (which is made up of over two million blocks of stone) and you’ll soon realise why the Pyramids remain one of our world’s greatest man-made structures. As well as the highlights in Giza, we recommend spending some time getting under the skin of Cairo itself, whose busting metropolis hides several secret gems.

Further south, the cities of Luxor and Aswan sit along the banks of the mighty Nile River and can be visited separately or on a luxury river cruise which sails between the two. Luxor is widely regarded as the world’s largest open-air museum and boasts some of Egypt’s best preserved monuments, such as the Valley of the Kings and Queens, while Aswan is the access point for visits to the rock-hewn Abu Simbel temples.

For an alternative Egypt experience, head to the Mediterranean port city of Alexandria. Here visit some of the country’s most beautiful Greco-Roman ruins, venture into the nearby and stunning Western Desert or go underground to see the underwater ruins of Montazah and Maamoura.
