In the knowIf you’re in need of a night out, head into nearby Cabo San Lucas for a spot of late-night salsa dancing in the town’s many bars and clubs.

Hotel Overview

Sense of Place

The One&Only Palmilla has a stunning beachfront setting on the Baja Peninsula, overlooking the Pacific.

Rooms at One&Only Palmilla

Perched above the beach, each room and suite faces towards the sea, offering expansive views of the Pacific Ocean or Sea of Cortez from a private patio or balcony. They are elegantly furnished, including colourful Mexican-inspired textiles, wall panelling, glowing lanterns and bathrooms with sculpted travertine bathtubs and pebble floors.

Some have their own infinity pools, and the resplendent four-bedroom villas offer a rather special home away from home, with exceptional space, privacy and luxury. The 24-hour butler service assures your every whim and indulgence is fulfilled.

Food & Drink

The hotel has several restaurants, including Seared, an elegant steakhouse presided over by Michelin-starred chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten, which also offers delicious Pacific seafood, alongside an impressive wine list.

More casual is the pretty Agua by Larbi restaurant perched on the cliffside at the water's edge, with its fountains and twinkling Moroccan lamps, which serves up a tempting Mexican-Mediterranean fusion menu. To take advantage of the fresh seafood, try Suviche, which offers sushi and ceviche (see what they did there?). Head to the Pelican Beach Grill on the sands for sunset margaritas.

There are numerous restaurants and bars nearby too, should you feel like heading out for the evening.

Cool off in style in one of the pools (there are two pools, one for adults and one for families). Head to the superb spa for some serious pampering: it has several treatment villas nestled in stunning gardens, as well as hot and cold rock pools, steam rooms and saunas. We particularly like the chocolate massage - very fitting, given that Mexico is the home of chocolate! The hotel also offers complimentary yoga and fitness classes.

Activities at One&Only Palmilla

Passing your time can be as energetic or as relaxed as you like. Choose from a round or two at the Jack Nicklaus-designed golf course, play a game of tennis, or go swimming (the hotel sits on one of the area's few swimmable beaches), surfing or kayaking. There are clubs for children and teenagers too, with a range of daily activities.

You can also head out on a desert Hummer adventure, or enjoy a whale-watching trip in the hotel’s private yacht - whale watching is an absolute must if you're here at the right time of year (from December to March). You should also take the opportunity to soak up the charms of San José del Cabo.
