2 nightsIstanbul

You’ll be swept off to the heart of the city in Istanbul’s old quarter, where your hotel – Four Seasons Sultanahmet – sits snugly between two of the city’s most iconic sights, the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia. From your luxury base, you will set off to navigate Istanbul’s lively Grand Bazaar, admire Ottoman palaces and, of course, beautiful mosques. You’ll wander through the vibrant districts of Beyoglu and Galata, browsing boutiques and stopping to relax at one of the cool local cafes.

2 nightsCappadocia

On your third day, a morning flight will zip you over to Cappadocia, and you’ll be taken to Argos Hotel in Uchisar village. Once you’ve made yourself feel at home in your troglodyte setting, you’ll be set to explore the unusual rock formations of the land: Fairy Chimneys, Uchisar Castle and the cave cities beg to be swooned at. You might venture underground for a tour of the subterranean cities at Derinkuyu and Kaymakli; or examine historic frescoes in the churches at Goreme Open-Air Museum. The next day you’ll be up before the crack of dawn to float in a hot air balloon at sunrise, gazing at the exquisite topography and other colourful balloons dotted in the sky before drifting down for a glass of bubbly. Fill up on Turkish fare on the terrace of your hotel before catching your afternoon flight back to Istanbul.

1 nightIstanbul

To contrast your first few nights staying in Istanbul's old quarter, your last night in the city will be at the Four Seasons Bosphorus, on the glamorous Bosphorous waterfront. Luxuriate in the hammam, kick back on the waterfront terrace or take a dip in one of the hotel pools: whatever the case, it’ll be impossible to tear yourself away from the sight of the glistening river. We also highly recommend a Bosphorus river cruise to really take it all in, before you reach the end of your trip.
