La Residencia, A Belmond Hotel, is tucked into the foothills of the UNESCO-listed Serra de Tramuntana on Mallorca's north-west coast, a stone’s throw away from the clear blue Mediterranean Sea.

There are artworks that children can play with - and at the children's club, they can enjoy pottery workshops as well as cooking classes and tennis lessons. For an extra-special experience, join a local art curator on a walking tour of Deia to meet local artists.

Further afield, many attractions are within walking distance, or you can explore by Vespa. For more scenic views, enjoy a dawn walk around the coast or a hike in the Serra de Tramuntana, or you can even be escorted by one of the hotel's donkeys into the mountains for a gourmet picnic, accompanied by panoramic vistas.

Meanwhile, a shuttle will take you to the nearby beach at Cala Deia, and in the summer, you can head out on the water on a scenic boat trip around the coastline and its secluded coves.
