Activities at La Residencia, A Belmond Hotel

The hotel sits on the edge of the artists' village of Deia, and as well as colourful artworks in the rooms and original Miró paintings in Café Miro, it has its own art gallery as well as beautiful sculpture gardens. Young or old, if you're feeling inspired by the artistic vibe, take a painting or sculpture class and unleash your inner Picasso. There are artworks that children can play with - and at the children's club, they can enjoy pottery workshops as well as cooking classes and tennis lessons. For an extra-special experience, join a local art curator on a walking tour of Deia to meet local artists.

Further afield, many attractions are within walking distance, or you can explore by Vespa. For more scenic views, enjoy a dawn walk around the coast or a hike in the Serra de Tramuntana, or you can even be escorted by one of the hotel's donkeys into the mountains for a gourmet picnic, accompanied by panoramic vistas.

Meanwhile, a shuttle will take you to the nearby beach at Cala Deia, and in the summer, you can head out on the water on a scenic boat trip around the coastline and its secluded coves.
