La Bobadilla, A Royal Hideaway Hotel

Nestled on a 900-acre estate, between Cordoba and the Costa del Sol, La Bobadilla, A Royal Hideaway Hotel is sat amongst olive groves and oak trees creating the perfect backdrop for a country escape.

Elegant and refined, rooms at the hotel are all exposed brickwork, pretty arches and vaulted ceilings. Guests are treated to scenic views with terraces, balconies or gardens in the spacious suites. The bathrooms are equally expansive, and there are even free-standing, luxurious tubs in many of the suites.

There are three restaurants to choose from at La Bobadilla. La Finca is an outstanding five-star restaurant, known throughout the region for its exquisite Mediterranean fare, created by chef Antonio Organero. El Cortijo has spectacular views and lip-smacking Spanish cuisine served on an outdoor terrace, while Easy Eating is the more casual dining option at the hotel. There’s also a poolside bar, El Mirador Chill Out. The buffet breakfast includes fresh fruit, patisseries, cheese and meats.

The outdoor pool at La Bobadilla is huge – 1,500 square metres and surrounded by leafy trees, loungers and a fountain: there’s also a small pool for kids here, too. There’s a children’s club for 4-12 year olds, as well as a games room, gym and tennis courts. For a little pampering, the spa has you covered, with an indoor pool, sauna and steam room.

It’s all about enjoying the great outdoors here, with activities like mountain biking, horse riding, quad biking and small game hunting available.
