Hotel Overview

Sense of Place

Overlooking the Giudecca Canal, Il Palazzo Experimental oozes contemporary elegance, nestled away from the crowds yet a popular cosmopolitan hub among those who are aware of its location.

Rooms at Il Palazzo Experimental

Each room at the hotel features the stamp of the Experimental brand in their style and comfort. High arched headboards, plush cushions and eccentric furnishings complete the interiors, while the unrivalled views over the Giudecca Canal or gardens make for a stunning morning wake-up.

The carefully selected colour palette reflects that of the city, featuring sky blue, mellow yellow, soft greys and shades of terracotta. As with all the Experimental group hotels, mini-bars in the rooms are stocked with house-made mixers and local speciality drinks.

Food & Drink

The Experimental group lives and breathes innovation when it comes to their food and drink, with a particular focus on signature cocktails thanks to their origins as a Parisian cocktail bar. Venice’s hallmark spritz and Bellini are amongst the ever-changing cocktail list, with new infusions being incorporated weekly by the mixologists. The Experimental Cocktail Club’s interior design comes from one of Italy’s biggest rising stars, Cristina Celestino.

Partnering with the founders of the Italian Supper Club, the hotel’s Ristorante Adriatica has developed a menu that brings together the best of both brands and pays homage to the Adriatic region. Selective use of only top quality seasonal produce combined with a certain playfulness means each dish is a delight to the taste buds, with ingredients coming from a variety of Italian coastal areas.

Facilities

Away from the crowds of the city, relax in the garden at the back of the hotel, letting onto a quiet canal with tranquil waters.

Activities at Il Palazzo Experimental
