The spa is perfect for a spot of pampering after a day of exploring. Bringing a slice of Sicily to Rome, its treatments feature fresh Sicilian botanicals from sister hotel Verdura Resort’s organic farm. Visit the thermal suite, which has a Mediterranean salt inhalation room, a sauna and an ice fountain.

Enjoy a pre-theatre menu at the hotel’s Da Sistina restaurant before catching a performance at Teatro Sistina just down the road. You can’t miss the Spanish Steps, just a stone’s throw away, and for a dose of serenity in the city, stroll around the beautiful gardens of Villa Borghese, where you’ll find a boating lake and even a replica of Shakespeare’s Globe.
