Amimomi has a romantic setting overlooking the bay, and the gourmet cuisine is accompanied by live piano music. At the Circle restaurant down on the waterfront, meanwhile, Greek and Mediterranean dishes, alongside an extensive wine list, are accompanied by sweeping views of Nafplio.

Activities at Nafplia Palace

Nafplia Palace is right in the heart of the beautiful old town of Nafplio, a showcase of Venetian architecture, narrow streets and museums. It is home to the vast Palamidi Fortress, built by Venetian occupiers in the 1700s, which stands just above the hotel. In the Archaeological Museum, Nafplio’s ancient history is traced, with exhibits from as far back as 32,000 BC. There’s also the Alexandros Soutzos Museum, a branch of the Athens National Gallery, which contains seascapes of the 1821 Greek War of Independence.
