With a lovely climate most of the year, France’s mainland can be visited all year round. It enjoys a temperate climate throughout most of the year, especially in the south and in Corsica, which both have a Mediterranean climate with mild winters and very hot summers, with pockets of rainfall and occasional strong winds, known as the mistral.
