Your luxury family vacation begins with a flight to Los Angeles, from where you’ll take a private road transfer to the famed beachfront city of Santa Monica. With its well-known pier, amusement park and convenient location for nearby attractions like Disneyland, there’s plenty to keep the kids entertained. Santa Monica is a great way to start your beach break, too, with its rolling waves breaking on hundreds of acres of golden sand.

You’ll be staying for three nights at the stylish Fairmont Miramar, which is luxurious yet relaxed and offers great childcare options and organised beach activities. From Santa Monica, it’s back to Los Angeles for the flight to Fiji.

The beautiful Fijian island of Vanua Levu is where you’ll be spending the longest leg of your luxury family vacation. You’ll stay for seven nights at the Jean-Michel Cousteau Resort, a serene collection of 25 traditional Fijian bures (wooden huts) surrounded by tropical gardens. The resort’s Bula Club makes it perfect for families, offering a range of fun and educational kids’ activities to give parents some privacy during the day.

The surroundings are beautiful, and Fiji is deserving of its reputation as a beach lovers’ paradise, with pristine white beaches, vivid blue seas and lagoons and rich marine life. It’s the Fijian people and their rich culture which you’ll find most memorable, though: renowned for their hospitality, the Fijians’ warmth and sense of community is reflected at the Jean-Michel Cousteau Resort, which also offers ample opportunities for first-hand cultural experiences. Fijian musical performances are commonplace, with the traditional Kava ceremony taking place in the evenings - guests are welcome to join in.

From Fiji, you’ll take an overnight flight to Hong Kong for the final leg of your trip. The bustle and vibrancy of Hong Kong, a distinctive crossroads of eastern and western culture, adds another dimension to your trip: you’ll see rural village life shoulder to shoulder with the towering skyscrapers and colonial museums of Hong Kong Island.

You’ll stay for three nights at the elegant and contemporary Intercontinental Hong Kong, where you won’t need to leave the comfort of your Harbour View Room to enjoy Victoria Harbour’s nightly Symphony of Lights: the music can be played into your room, combining with the breathtaking views to give you your own private show.
