Hotel Overview

Sense of place

Halong Bay is renowned worldwide for its remarkable other-worldly limestone peaks, which tower above shimmering azure waters and gorgeous powder white sand islands.

Rooms onboard the Halong Legend

One, two, three or four-cabin boats are available for charter, depending on your party size. The elegant suites brandish oriental design, furnished with chocolate hues and dark woods. Every suite has a private balcony with panoramic views, while the largest four-cabin boat benefits from two decks that are perfect for private events.

Food and drink

Dining on the Legend is a gastronomic extravaganza, with five-course meals whipped up each day for lunch and dinner. Menus are carefully designed to cater to all tastes, with dedicated vegetarian, no fish, halal and gluten-free menus all on offer. Don’t miss the particularly delicious and wonderfully fresh seafood.

Facilities

The meticulously attentive crew ensure round-the-clock service, and include a private butler and head chef - who runs private cooking courses teaching the art of Vietnamese cuisine. Start your day with a tai chi class on the deck, and finish it by imbibing the views with a fine wine from the excellent selection on board.

Activities on board the Halong Legend

Spend your days island hopping from peak to peak, stopping off at gorgeous sheltered beaches caressed by calm, shallow waters that are perfect for swimming. Hikers will relish the spectacular nature trail to the peak of Soi Sim island, while photographers can capture the winning shot of Halong Bay from the peak of Titov Island. There are a wealth of caves to be explored in the Bay too, namely Sung Sot cave, packed with thousands of stalactites and stalagmites, and Me Cung Cave, which holds fascinating archaeological evidence of prehistoric life.
