Hotel Overview

Where

Laem Tong beach on Phi Phi Don island, 30 minutes by longtail boat from the main port of Tongsai.

Rooms at Zeavola

The 40 rooms at Zeavola are immersed deep in the jungle, with walls that can be opened fully, and gorgeous al fresco rain-showers. Inside, the feel is quite bohemian with hand-crafted teak furniture, storm-lanterns, and large beds draped with mosquito nets. Options include rooms that are just a few steps from the beach, others with private gardens and large pools, and those right up in the hillside with panoramic ocean views.

Food and facilities

Unsurprisingly, sea-food is the focus at Zeavola, and it tastes even better right next to the lapping waves with your feet dug into the sand. The restaurant also serves sumptuous Italian cuisine, and classic Thai dishes – but if you want to sample real grass-roots cooking, walk along the shoreline to the sea-gypsy village where you can have a beautifully simple Thai dinner right on the waterfront.

Activities at Zeavola

With long-tail boats drifting in and out of Zeavola all day, it couldn’t be easier to hop to some of Thailand’s most iconic bays. Mosquito Island and Bamboo Island can be seen from the beach at Zeavola. Snorkellers will find a long stretch of coral reef in the shallows, and at low tide you can kayak into caverns in the limestone cliffs. For real diving adventures, and the chance to swim with sharks, let us direct you to the best spots. Anything else? An invigorating Thai massage in the resort’s top-notch spa.
