Davison's Camp

In the south east of Hwange National Park, the largest of Zimbabwe’s parks.

The camp’s nine tented rooms offer fantastic views over one of the most densely populated game viewing areas in the park. In a camp where elephants and buffalo have right of way, there’s no doubt your stay will be an exciting one: wake up to the sound of the elephants drinking with lions’ calls in the background, and take in the beautiful surroundings in luxurious comfort.

The camp’s fantastic opportunities for game viewing don’t stop at meal times, and the open sided main guest area has panoramic views across the water hole. For an even more authentically African dining experience, the traditional Boma is a short distance away, or stay in camp, relaxing by the pool with a drink from the bar or topping up your local knowledge with a book from the library.

Hwange’s game viewing is superb even by Zimbabwe’s standards: morning bush walks are a great way to get up close with the wilderness and get to those exciting areas that the 4x4 can’t reach. Game drives are available in the morning and afternoon, while you can catch a glimpse of nocturnal mammals on a night drive.
