Hotel Overview

Where

Overlooking Bomani Pan on the Ngoma Plain, in a private concession in an exclusive area of south east Hwange National Park.

Rooms at Bomani Tented Lodge

The spacious Spurwing tents are situated on a concrete plinth on the Bomani Pan side of camp. Each tent is slightly different, but are all, unusually, tiled throughout, and feature private decks and fully equipped bathrooms. The brick and thatch Royal Suite is another option for those who like the security afforded by a solid structure.

Food and facilities

Main guest areas overlook Bomani Pan, comprising a dining area, bar, lounge and viewing deck: guests congregate around the fire pit for pre-dinner drinks, followed by candlelit dinner under the stars – if you’re after a little more privacy, private dinners are also available. The people, service, food and beauty of the surrounding area all play a role in ensuring guests leave with lasting memories.

Activities at Bomani Tented Lodge

Activities include game drives on the concession and in Hwange National Park; night drives and walks are also conducted within the camp's private concession. An interesting full day activity is the "pump" run: taking place during the dry season from May to November, guests can participate in the delivery of diesel, spare parts and provisions to the pump attendants who look after the waterholes maintained by Bomani along the southern side of the park.
