Hotel Overview

Where

Located in a 60,000 hectare, Big Five private game reserve- on the western boundary of Kruger National Park.

Rooms at Kings Camp

The eleven thatched suites, two of which are honeymoon suites complete with private pools, are styled on the colonial era of the great explorers, with open planned bedrooms, giant four poster beds, and private verandas with hammocks to look over the surrounding bush. The dark tones of the wood and thatch are off-set by the beige colours of the draped curtains, enveloping couches and walk-in showers.

Food and facilities

Whether you choose to dine under the stars, around the pool, in the spacious dining room or on the patio of your suite, no dinner will be the same at Kings Camp. As you relax after a fantastic day of wildlife spotting, warm yourself by the blazing fire, feasting on traditional bush cuisine- typically succulent game meat, flavoursome vegetable dishes and decadent desserts- and South African wines.

Activities at Kings Camp

Whatever is on your wish list of animals to see, chances are you will need to create a new one after your stay. As part of the Greater Kruger National Park, Kings Camp offers non-stop wildlife sightings. A leopard on a hunt, lions roaring at night, hippos laughing in the river, or baby elephants bathing in mud, spend your days on the edge of your seat in the open game vehicles or on the balls of your feet as you walk, with a ranger, through the bush, as you discover animal tracks and learn more about the local fauna and flora.
