1 nightLIMA

Your first stop is characterful Lima, where you’ll stay at boutique retreat Villa Barranco, which is set in a serene location in arty Barranco, not far from the Pacific Ocean. Explore Lima’s colonial architecture, its main square and the impressive cathedral at your own pace - or why not take advantage of the many options for city tours or culinary experiences?

3 nightsSACRED VALLEY

After a flight to Cusco, we’ll take you to the Sacred Valley of the Incas for a few days of adventure in this extraordinary setting. Peppered with ancient Incan towns and little villages, the Sacred Valley is a must-see for any trip to Peru. You can visit the awe-inspiring ruins of Ollantaytambo and Pisac, home to mind-boggling feats of engineering, as well as go rafting, trekking, horse riding and mountain biking – the scope for adventure is endless. Your home will be Sol y Luna, sprawled over 25 acres of gardens and offering an authentic stay in the Sacred Valley.

1 nightMACHU PICCHU

Today, you’ll arrive at Machu Picchu in style on the scenic Vistadome train - relax and take in the sweeping vistas over the mountains and valleys from the panoramic windows. Enjoy the mountain views from your room at El Mapi, a cosy hotel where you can also take a refreshing dip in the pool and dine on delicious Peruvian cuisine. The final leg of your adventure takes you to Cusco, the capital of the Incas, reached by Vistadome from Machu Picchu. Your hotel for two nights is Aranwa, a colonial townhouse which is right in the heart of Cusco, steps away from the main square. Pull up a chair in Aranwa’s central courtyard and enjoy dinner by candlelight, and wander the cobbled streets of Cusco to discover ancient Incan foundations and pick up local handicrafts in the San Blas district. After two nights in Cusco, you’ll return home having experienced quintessential Peru.
