Camino Real

In the residential and commercial district of the city, just a taxi ride from downtown La Paz.

70 suites are gathered around Camino Real’s central atrium: overlooking the city, and with views of the Andes in the distance. Each is clean, comfortable, and simply furnished, and extra oxygen can also be arranged to help you acclimatise to the altitude.

Although there isn’t an actual restaurant at Camino Real, their hearty breakfasts are just what you need before a day of exploring, and when you return you can relax in the indoor pool, massage rooms, and gym. You'll also find plenty of shops, cafes, and good places to eat nearby.

It’s just a short taxi ride into downtown La Paz with its flag-lined alleys, and famous Witches Market where you can pick up all manner of mind-boggling trinkets (dried llama foetus anyone?!) To escape the madness, head to Iglesia de San Francisco – a magnificent example of baroque architecture, with fantastic views over the city.
