Hotel Overview

Sense of place

Hub Porteno has the feel of a luxurious private apartment building as much as a hotel, and each suite is homely yet luxurious and individually decorated with unique artworks, antique furnishings and modern design pieces. The hotel’s concierge service is its pride and joy, and the staff go out of their way to ensure your experience is as rich and enjoyable as possible.

Rooms at Hub Porteno

Hub Porteno has just 11 guest rooms, each of which is individually designed and all of which exhibit a stylish, luxurious aesthetic; expect marble bathrooms, dark wood shutters, and antique furniture side by side with modern design pieces. The Bacan Suite overlooks the hotel’s pleasant winter garden, home to a historic fig tree.

Food & Drink

The hotel’s acclaimed in-house restaurant, Tarquino, is a stylish, atmospherically lit space where Chef Dante Liporace serves up his modern take on classic Argentine specialties. The food is very much haute cuisine, and a fantastic place for gourmands to try new and unusual dishes; examples include fresh bread with bone marrow juice dip, steak served in a sphere of wine gelatine, and a deconstructed pizza served in a martini glass.

Facilities

After a day jam-packed with activities, there’s nothing better than retiring to Hub Porteno’s sauna or treatment room, where a wide range of massages and other therapies are on offer. The hotel also has a fully equipped fitness centre, so you can stay on top of your routine while you’re away.

Activities at Hub Porteno

Your stay at Hub Porteno will surely be centred around an exciting programme of cultural, gastronomic, outdoor and sporting activities. If you’re keen to take in some tango, a range of private lessons are on offer, or you can just attend a show if you’d rather leave it to the experts. Guided tours are on offer to help you get the best out of the city’s magnificent classical and modern art collections, while a trip to a rural estancia is perfect for getting away from the city and experiencing life as lived by the gaucho cowboys.
