Rooms at Lodge at Red River Ranch

These snug rustic guest rooms all have wood burning fireplaces, a patio or step-out balcony, private bathrooms and air conditioning. Embodying a traditional hunting cabin, these rooms feature Native American and western pioneer touches, including wagon-wheel chandeliers, beds heavy with patterned quilts and portraits of American Indian chiefs.
For a bit of southern romance, go for the Cornflower Room, which features a beautiful king-sized canopy bed, a writing desk and a walkout balcony with views of the red cliffs and orchard.

Food & Drink

If home style French toast seasoned with nutmeg and cinnamon, a mushroom omelette with fresh tomatoes and cheese, blueberry pancakes with bacon or chilaquiles with avocado and scrambled eggs sound good to you, then you’ll love the breakfasts served at the Cliffstone Restaurant. Have breakfast outside and bask in the early light on the patio before heading out on your day adventure to the nearby parks.
The restaurant only serves breakfast, but packed lunches and light dinners are available on request.

Facilities

Full of peaceful alcoves and scenic spots perfect for catching up on some light reading, the Great Room is the lodge’s hub and has a piano, game nook and comfortable furniture for lazy afternoons. The lodge also has a recreations room with table-tennis and foosball, an exercise machine, a home theatre and an outdoor hot tub.

Activities at Lodge at Red River Ranch

A few minutes’ drive will have you surrounded by the red rock cliffs and bridges of Capitol Reef National Park, where you can cycle around the well maintained roads, fish in the Fremont River, hike to the must-see Hickman Natural Bridge and pick fruit in the green groves and orchards of Fruita. After a drive through the national park’s rocky wilderness, you can hop into a UTV (four-wheel off road vehicle) and explore the Mars-like terrain on hard-to-access trails or walk the many trails around the lodge, keeping an eye out for the herds of American bison and resident beavers.
