Hotel Overview

Where

Little Palm Island is on Little Torch Key, roughly two hours and forty minutes on a self-drive from Miami, followed by a short speedboat ride.

Rooms at Little Palm Island Resort & Spa

With an icy rum punch in hand, you’ll be taken up a crushed seashell path to one of the 30 thatched roof villas. Beautifully secluded, each of the villas is just a few steps away from the ocean, with a sea-facing veranda and a classic style inside that mixes sea-hued fabrics, wicker furniture and romantic canopied beds. Other villas have private beach areas with hammocks and fire pits – perfect for relaxing with one of Little Palm’s signature cocktails, or settling down with the Florida Keys classic, To Have and Have Not.

Food and facilities

The food is excellent at Little Palm island, with a mixture of French and Pan-Latin influences, and of course some of the best seafood in the world. Having caught your yellowtail snapper on an exciting day of deep-sea fishing, they’ll happily grill it up for you or turn it into their delicious ceviche, and afterwards, you can tuck in to key lime pie and enjoy cocktails around the beach bonfire.

Activities at Little Palm Island Resort & Spa

Little Palm Island is the perfect place to relax and do nothing, but it’s also absolute heaven for water babies. First stop is the national marine sanctuary, where the shallow waters are ideal for snorkelling. Have close encounters with rehabilitated dolphins, enjoy President Truman’s favourite pastime of sport-fishing, or for something a little different, try kite-boarding.
