The Liming

The Liming is off the beaten track, set amongst verdant gardens, and has its own marina, allowing guests to hide away but also be able to explore Bequia and the waters with ease. Bequia is just seven square miles, and has fewer than 5,000 inhabitants, and beautiful coastlines of pristine beaches and lagoons.

There is just a handful of private villas, a junior suite and the five-bedroom Gingerlily Mansion House, each strategically placed to ensure they all have breathtaking sea views as well as total, blissful privacy. Each villa is generously sized, with a living area, one to four bedrooms and a private terrace with a sea-facing infinity pool. In the evenings, we recommend stargazing from your deck.

Take in the Caribbean sun while relaxing in or by your own pool or hot tub. 

There's plenty to do nearby and on the island: learn about conservation at the Old Hegg Turtle Sanctuary, meet the locals at the markets in Port Elizabeth, take a day trip to the Tobago Cays or don a snorkel to explore the exotic underwater world. Spend a day at one of Bequia’s secluded and awe-inspiring beaches, such as Princess Margaret and Lower Bay.

Away from the beach, climb up Mount Peggy, where you can discover different vegetation zones, open pastures and tropical forests. Don’t forget to take pictures of the stunning view when you get to the summit, known locally as Peggy’s Rock.
