Hotel Overview

Rooms at Bequia Beach Hotel

With just 44 rooms, suites and villas, the Bequia Beach Hotel has been carefully created to ensure a great mix of accommodations, most of which have dazzling ocean views. From Poolside Rooms, to Beachfront Suites and a handful of Villas with a private pool, there is an option to suit all tastes and preferences. You will find the décor to be reminiscent of classic Caribbean chic with hints and touches of modernity.

The private villas are a great option for families, whilst the Penthouse Suite makes the perfect honeymoon hide-away, with an open-air Jacuzzi and the best sea-views that Bequia Beach has to offer.

Sense of Place

Bequia Beach Hotel is set on Friendship Bay on Bequia island which is 9 miles west of Mustique, and can be reached by light air-craft from Barbados, or an hour’s ferry ride from St Vincent.

Facilities

There's plenty to do at Bequia Beach Hotel, if you can draw yourself away from the indulgent beachside pool, or the beach itself. There are a number of non-motorised water sports readily available. The hotel also has a gym and you can sooth your muscles with a massage at the spa.

Food & Drink

Bagatelle offers an eclectic mix of Euro-Caribbean cuisine, whilst the classic Italian menu on offer at Blue Tropic on the Hill will delight the taste buds of even the most avid Italian cuisine lovers. Jack's offers a beachside haven in beach-chic style, and their Tempura Okra and PM Burger's are a must try. As with any Caribbean island, expect fresh fish and seafood to feature heavily on the menus too, taking advantage of the daily catches which are literally brought to the hotels' shores each day by local fishermen.

Activities at Bequia Beach Hotel

Teaming with a cornucopia of fish, the crystal clear waters surrounding Bequia Beach are ideal for snorkelling, and there are two scuba centres on the island. We can also arrange day sailing trips (crewed or bare-boat), giving you the chance to spot some dolphins. Back on dry land, you’re never more than 15 minutes by taxi to wherever you want to go, including the scenic natural harbour, Port Elizabeth. Here you can wander round the farmers’ markets, have some classic Caribbean dishes by the waterfront, and adopt the wonderfully sleepy pace of life.

We'd also highly recommend taking a day trip to the stunning Tobago Cays, where you can usually be fortunate enough to swim with Green Turtles. Also well worthwhile, is a visit to the neighbouring sister island of St Vincent, and there is a regular public ferry service to a number of other nearby islands, all waiting to be explored.
