Hotel Overview

Where

Le Guanahani is nestled on its own private peninsula above beautiful beaches and a reef-protected lagoon. It sits on the north-east side of St Barths, at the end of Grand Cul-de-Sac Bay, overlooking Marigot Bay, and is just 3kms from the airport.

Rooms at Le Guanahani

The 67 rooms and suites are set in the lush, tropical landscapes, dotted around the bougainvillea, hibiscus and coconut trees, and the charming, individual cottages are brightly painted in yellows, purples and greens. Interiors feature rare woods and beautiful cotton fabrics, and come with flatscreen TVs, mini-bars and iPod docks, alongside private terraces that are perfect for relaxing on and taking in the sea views, Caribbean style - and private pools and gardens are on offer too.

Food and facilities

At the poolside Indigo restaurant, you can enjoy delicious buffet breakfasts, lunches and dinners, alongside stunning bay views, while the exquisite Bartolomeo restaurant, set in the tropical gardens, is also highly recommended. You can also have dinner on the beach - a perfect spot to feast on fresh seafood and exotic Caribbean dishes. Head to the beach bar for handcrafted sunset cocktails.

Activities at Le Guanahani

There are two floodlit tennis courts and a fitness centre, as well as two pools, a large Jacuzzi and a wide variety of children's activities, while the blissful spa has a tempting range of Clarins treatments.  Le Guanahani has two fantastic beaches on its doorstep: Marigot on the ocean side, perfect for the more active and adventurous types seeking water sports (snorkelling, windsurfing, kite surfing, canoeing and pedal boating are just some of the water sports you can indulge in); and the reef-protected Grand Cul-de-Sac, which is ideal for families. Enjoy scenic hikes around the island, or go whale watching... the options are endless: just ask the concierges for their tips on what to see and do.
