3 nightsMARRAKECH

Marrakech is a complete sensory treat, with something amazing round every corner. Get lost in the colourful souks, tour the stunning mosques and learn how to create your own perfume and make the perfect tagine. You can also enjoy a private tailor-made city tour in Marrakech – from shopping in the souks to visiting its architectural highlights.

You’ll be staying at the lovely Riad El Fenn, which is within the walls of the medina but is a chic escape from the bustle outside. The food – served on the roof terrace in the day and in the main restaurant in the evening – features fresh local ingredients and includes produce from the hotel’s garden in the Atlas foothills.

3 nightsBERRAKA

On the next leg of your journey, make your way to Berraka and Hotel Capaldi, an indulgent hideaway nestled in the foothills of the Atlas Mountains, and only 35 minutes from Marrakech. The hotel is peaceful and a great base for exploring the area itself, as it is a lovely walk to the Lalla Takerkoust lake, where you could enjoy a picnic by the water or dine in style at Le Flouka.

For thrill-seekers, dune-buggying in the Agafay desert or mountain biking in the Atlas foothills are exciting ways to see the surroundings at a faster pace.
