Heading north, just outside of San Jose, you’ll start your adventurous honeymoon in Costa Rica’s Central Valley. Spend your first two nights at Finca Rosa Blanca, a luxury sustainable hotel nestled in an organic tree-shaded coffee plantation, and delve deep into coffee, art, food, culture, adventure and nature. 

Make the most of this superb location and the excursions Finca Rosa Blanca has to offer. Explore the nearby volcanoes of Poas, an active volcano with three craters, Bava, on the continental divide, and Irazu. Push your adrenaline levels while rafting down the Pacuare, Sarapiqui or Reventazon rivers or talk a walk through the plantation and learn about organic Costa Rican coffee.

Today you will head to the Caribbean coast, visiting the land of the endangered green turtles and Tortuguero National Park. Spend two nights at Tortuga Lodge and explore the canals of the national park by boat while keeping your eyes peeled for caiman, crocodiles, iguanas, sloths and river otters. Your English-speaking guide will also take you into the nearby village of Tortuguero, a rainforest sandbar.
