Deccan Odyssey

The Deccan Odyssey has six rail journeys to choose from, each one 7 nights long, taking in the best of Maharashtra, Rajasthan and Gujarat, and visiting many of India’s top attractions, from UNESCO World Heritage Sites to beaches and wildlife.

The Maharashtra Splendor itinerary begins and ends in Mumbai and takes in the Ajanta Caves and the beaches of Goa, while the Indian Sojourn tour travels from Mumbai to Udaipur, Jodhpur, Agra and Jaipur, finishing in Delhi. Wildlife fans should choose the Maharashtra Wild Trail to see tigers in Pench National Park.

The private cabins, including four luxurious Presidential Suites, are comfortable, air-conditioned and spacious, with traditional and cultural touches. They feature plush beds, wood-panelled walls and adjoining bathrooms, with large windows to make the most of the scenery.

There are two gourmet restaurants onboard, which offer delicious cuisine featuring the specialities of the areas you travel through during your journey, as well as international favourites, from thalis to fresh fish and smoked duck.
