Hotel Overview

Where

The heart of the historic old town in Lyon.

Rooms at Cour des Loges

Cour des Loges’ 60 rooms and suites are all luxuriously appointed in the historic style which gives the hotel such character, from the French style one-person Mezzanine Rooms to the vast Suites. All feature hand-picked, period decorations, with antique furniture and hundred-year old woodwork adding to the historic atmosphere. The Junior Suites are particularly characterful, with the artist Hervé Thibaut having transformed each one individually into living pieces of art.

Food and facilities

Even by the standards of a city renowned for its gastronomy, Cour des Loges is heaven on earth for foodies. The restaurant Les Loges, which has held a Michelin star since 2012, offers refined, traditional and seasonal cuisine in a stunning environment: a marble-floored Florentine courtyard beneath a beautiful glass and steel ceiling. The Café-Épicerie, meanwhile, offers an innovative and ever-changing brunch menu, and a refined list of champagne, brandy, rum, whiskies and cocktails is on offer at the bar.

Activities at Cour des Loges

La Petite Loge is the place to go for special gastronomic experiences, offering a fantastic food and wine tasting menu and cookery classes in a stunning environment inside an old Masonic lodge. If you can tear yourself away from the table, Cour des Loges is brilliantly located for exploring Lyon, which for hundreds of years has been a hub not just for gastronomy, but a capital of the printing and silk trades, a crossroads of culture, and a historical and social melting pot. The Musée des Beaux Arts is home to a beautiful collection of fine art, with the Musée d’Art Contemporain the place to go for modern and contemporary pieces. Visit the Musée de la Soierie to learn about the fascinating history of the silk trade in Lyon.
