El Questro Homestead

Homestead Rooms have modern bathrooms and furnishings. Each room has a private verandah with lounge furniture overlooking the resort gardens. Chamberlain Gorge Rooms are stylishly appointed and feature a private outdoor bath and deck with lounge furniture. Cantilevered over the Chamberlain Gorge, the Chamberlain Suite offers sublime panoramic views and features a wrap-around verandah with floor to ceiling windows to enjoy the magnificent sunset and sunrise over the gorge.

Decorated with modern pieces set against rustic authentic Australian furnishings, the homestead boasts a swimming pool and tennis court set in lush tropical gardens. You can choose from a selection of enticing dining locations, from a private cliff top position to the Homestead's spacious verandahs. The three course menu changes nightly, offering a selection that won’t be duplicated throughout your stay. Expect dishes such as Western Australian lamb or beef, wild Cambridge Gulf Barramundi, glazed quail and local fresh water scampi.

There are a number of organised excursions and group tours on offer to explore the beautiful regions of Kununurra and Kimberley. El Questro’s Big Day Out is considered a must do experience and offers a tour as diverse and unique as the Kimberley landscape. Circumnavigate the Cockburn Range while taking in the highlights of El Questro’s northern boundaries. Visit the Boab Prison Tree, see wild cattle and enjoy an unforgettable lunch prepared by the Homestead Chef. If you want to unwind, sunbathe by the swimming pool or visit the thermal springs.
