Bali

In beautiful Bali, the culture is as warm and welcoming as the climate.

Ubud

In Ubud, Bali’s cultural capital, wander through craft markets, watch colourful ceremonial processions and visit ornate Hindu temples and shrines, or explore the surrounding rice paddies, valleys, volcanoes and forests.

Seminyak and Southern Bali

Fashionable Seminyak is a hotspot for surfers, with some wonderful spas and plenty of upmarket restaurants, while the long stretches of golden sands make the Nusa Dua peninsula a great choice for families. The beach at the equally family-friendly Jimbaran Bay is among Bali’s best, with calm waters and fine, white sand.

Northern Bali

The comparatively undeveloped north of Bali is home to traditional villages, waterfalls, hot springs and black sand beaches, and dolphins can be seen wallowing in its warm waters.

Eastern and Western Bali

Heading east, there’s some great diving and snorkelling among the shipwrecks of Amed and, in the west, around the coral reefs of the West Bali National Park, where the mangroves are perfect for hiking and spotting wildlife.
