Beijing is packed full of treasures at every turn, from the historic Forbidden City to the beautiful Summer Palace, where you can tread in the footsteps of Chinese royalty – while the Great Wall is unmissable. You will make part of your journey here by boat on the Li River, winding between the jagged mountains and passing by villages and farmers working in the fields. Head out on a hiking or biking trip around the Li Valley’s limestone peaks, villages, lush green paddy fields, temples and caves, where you will be struck by the stunning scenery. 

The Banyan Tree Yangshuo is a luxurious haven, nestled amongst the mountains, rivers and lakes.
