Luangwa to Livingstone

Having arrived at Lusaka International Airport, we’ll transfer you to Mfuwe in South Luangwa to begin your luxury safari holiday. Staying at Luangwa River Camp, you’ll find yourselves admiring the views of game-rich Luangwa Wafwa and the meandering river from elevated wooden decks, with two swimming pools to cool off in. Your suite features a private plunge pool so you can soak up your surroundings in utmost privacy and luxury. The area is abundant with wildlife, so a walking safari might have you encountering a clan of baboons or family of elephants, while on a game drive you’ll get up and personal with the predators.

You’ll head on from here to the Lower Zambezi by air transfer and be whisked off to Chongwe River Camp, located on the banks of the Chongwe River beside the Lower Zambezi National Park. With such a pretty location and such lively hosting, this has something a little extra than most, and is a firm favourite in the Lower Zambezi. There are day and night game drives, walking safaris, canoe trips on the river, and fishing. There’s bream fishing on the Chongwe River (and if you catch a big ‘un, there’s the chance to bring it home for tea) and catch-and-release tiger fishing.

A short flight will take you into Livingstone and we’ll take you to your luxury lodge from here.
