Jabulani

Location: Greater Kruger & Panorama Region | South Africa

Jabulani is a truly extraordinary and unforgettable safari lodge, located within the Kapama Private Game Reserve. As well as its wonderful sense of privacy and Relais and Chateaux standards, it’s the magnificent herd of elephants that makes this place so magical. Rescued from Zimbabwe and now a full part of life at the lodge (indeed the lodge is named after one of them), guests are able to meet the elephants and accompany them in their daily activities.
Perfect forAn elephant overdose.
In the knowThis is the only place in the world where you can experience a sunset elephant walking safari as you accompany the elephants back to their stables, where you'll watch these gentles giants being ‘tucked’ into bed by their carers.

Hotel Overview

Sense Of Place

Located in close proximity to the Kruger National Park, Kapama Private Game Reserve is an African Eden with 13,000 hectares of sweeping  plains and riverine forests.

Rooms at Jabulani

There are six stunning exclusive suites lined along a (mostly) dry river bed, and one gorgeous private villa.  The style is cool, elegant and natural, with long sweeping mosquito nets lending an air of romance, a cosy fireplace, outdoor showers, and huge stone tubs. The Zindoga Villa is larger, and comes with a dedicated ranger, chef and butler- perfect for families.

Food & Drink

With wooden walkways high above the sandy riverbed, a thatched lounge, dining room and campfire area in the garden, the ambience at night is very romantic, highlighted by lanterns glowing underneath the canopy of tall trees. When you are going for dinner, go hungry as the food is fabulous.

Facilities

Make time for a relaxing treatment in the open-air Therapy Lapa spa, do a gym workout or enjoy a warming session in the sauna before heading to the thatched bar for a drink.

Activities at Jabulani

Jabulani’s ultimate highlight is its elephant experiences, but you can also take an early morning hot air balloon ride over herds of grazing antelope and stunning landscapes, spot the Big Five during the two daily game drives, stretch your legs with a walk through the African bush and discover the excellent progress the Endangered Species Centre is making.
