Hotel Overview

Where

Elephant Pepper Camp has been set up in the Mara North Conservancy, bordering the Masai Mara Reserve.

Rooms at Elephant Pepper Camp

The 8 (4 doubles & 4 twins) luxury safari tents are quite large and have very spacious bathroom areas. This, combined with Indian Raj Campaign furniture, mixing dark wood with intricate brass fittings gives the tents a very classy & elegant feel. The tents are set underneath a grove of fig and Elephant Pepper Trees and are spaced out to ensure privacy. From your personal veranda or hammock you can watch wildlife roam on the savannah plains whilst you relax during the heat of the day.

Food and Facilities

Elephant Pepper Camp has a very strong Italian heritage and the cuisine reflects this. You can look forward to a delicious combination of fresh homemade pastas and traditional Italian recipes for lunch and dinner. Breakfast is usually a picnic taken with you on your morning game drive where your guides will pick out a perfect spot to stop and eat. They will of course cater to all your dietary requirements so expect to be well fed throughout.

Activities at Elephant Pepper Camp

The Mara North Conservancy often has better game viewing than the Mara Reserve itself as there are more restrictions on number of visitors and by also not letting any other human activity encroach on the land. Their specially converted 4X4 vehicles are fully equipped to enhance your comfort and photography skills and will take you on game drives in the morning and afternoon as well as a short drive in the evenings before dinner if you so wish. The guides are all professionally certified and will be able to take you out on guided bush walks to see the Mara from a different perspective.
