Hotel Overview

Sense of Place

Hotel B graces the up-and-coming district of Barranco, half an hour from the centre of Lima.

Rooms at Hotel B

The stylish suites, in both the original mansion and the contemporary wing, each have unique touches, alongside plush beds, comfortable lounge areas and vintage furniture, with high ceilings. Balconies have views over the tranquil courtyard or out to the sea. The decadent bathrooms feature marble and glass, with rain showers and, in some rooms, deep soak bathtubs. The fig and herb toiletries honour the mansion’s original fig tree.

Food & Drink

Dine at marble-top tables in Hotel B’s elegant restaurant, which serves gourmet Peruvian cuisine with Mediterranean touches in a traditional yet relaxed setting. Wash it down with Peruvian craft beers or a refreshing glass of South American wine, and sip Pisco Sours in the beautiful bar, where you can also tuck into fresh seafood on the terrace.

Enjoy daily Peruvian tea, or el lonche (a twist on the English tradition), on the terrace, or wherever you choose - the feast, including Peruvian sweets, seasonal fruits and homemade Peruvian hot chocolate, is included in your stay.

Facilities

There are some beautiful spaces in the hotel where you can admire the artworks and curl up on a colourful chair with an art book.

Activities at Hotel B

Check out the hotel’s very own art collection, and visit some of the many galleries nearby, including the Lucia de la Puente gallery, where guests can enjoy private viewings and special events. Mario Testino, who was born in Lima, founded the MATE association in Barranco, a platform for Peruvian art, which holds a permanent collection of his works.

In and around Lima, there are also many churches, temples and historic ruins, or huacas, to explore, such as the Pucllana temple in the leafy garden district of Miraflores - also home to the stunning El Malecon clifftop walk, which is dotted with artworks and has amazing views over the Pacific Ocean (don't forget your camera!).
