Hotel Overview

Sense of place

GHL Hotel Lago Titicaca sits in the bay of Puno on a rocky hill, overlooking the lake and linked to the mainland by a bridge. It is only five minutes north from central Puno.

Rooms at GHL Hotel Lago Titicaca

Modern in design and in nature, the spacious rooms come in either superior or suite sizes, the suites being slightly bigger with a separate living area. All rooms look out towards the beautiful lake - don't miss the epic sunrises and sunsets.

Food & Drink

With regional produce such as quinoa, coca, trout, pejerrey and alpaca picked by the head chef, enjoy traditional and local fare at the restaurant before retiring to your room, ready for the next day’s early excursion on the lake.

There is a huge emphasis on its location and the views that come with it, meaning there are large windows everywhere to showcase the unforgettable sunsets. When the sun passes the horizon, it’s time to hit the bar for a refreshing Coca Sour or Pisco Sour, sipped next to a eucalyptus log blazing fire or on the terrace, watching Puno come alive with its evening lights.

Facilities

There is a spa area with a Jacuzzi and a sauna, where you can be pampered after a day exploring the lake, or play a game of pool in the bar or take some photos on the observation deck.

Activities at GHL Hotel Lago Titicaca

The hotel has its own private pier on to the lake, which makes it extremely easy to go out for the day to explore what is the highest lake in the world. Visit the unique Uros floating islands, where you’ll be able to see dwellings made of totora reed float on the surface, and witness impressive views of the snow-capped Cordillera Real mountains in Bolivia.
