Close to the equator, Colombia is really a year-round destination with pleasant temperatures that decrease slightly at altitude.
The climate on the Caribbean coast and in the north is particularly warm and tropical, but the best time to experience Tayrona National Park and the beautiful beaches is during dry season (December to March).
As you head into the upland regions and coffee farms the conditions get cooler – great for trekking and adventure sports whatever the time of year.
The Amazon is as you’d expect – wet and humid all year round – whilst Cartagena and San Andreas are year-round favourites for colourful culture and beautiful beaches.
