The hacienda’s eight rooms are furnished with vintage colonial furniture from the estate’s 19th century heyday. Some have balconies and all have views overlooking the magnificent gardens.

Food and Facilities

The hacienda’s dining room is filled with family heirlooms and antiques used by its original owners. The food on offer is hearty Colombian cuisine combined with international dishes, complemented of course by local coffee.

Activities at Hacienda San Jose

Horse riding is a very popular activity here, with excursions on offer in the hacienda’s surrounding estates and further afield. Birdwatching is also excellent, with over 100 species present in the hacienda’s grounds. Guided eco trails can be arranged to the nearby wetlands.
