Sense of Place

Cruise around the stunning landscapes of southern Patagonia, and take your pick from a range of itineraries which visit destinations including Cape Horn, Wulaia Bay, Magdalena Island, Ainsworth Bay and Tierra del Fuego Island. Itineraries range from 3 to 8 nights, either one-way or round trips from Ushaia or Punta Arenas, navigating through the Beagle Channel and the Strait of Magellan, passing by glaciers and wildlife from condors to penguins. 

Rooms onboard Australis

The Australis boats are tailor-made for exploring the southern tip of South America and navigating the narrow fjords and channels. Stella Australis and Ventus Australis both have 100 stylish, comfortable cabins, accommodating up to 210 passengers, with ensuite bathrooms and floor-to-ceiling windows offering fantastic views of the dramatic Patagonian scenery.

Facilities

There is a library with books on Patagonia's wildlife and history, as well as board games. There's also a viewing deck for spotting wildlife such as whales, dolphins, penguins and elephant and leopard seals out in the ice-blue ocean, and condors soaring in the vast skies above.
