Hotel Overview

Sense of place

Nawelpi Lodge is nestled by the Fuy River in the Patagonian rainforest, surrounded by luscious greenery, and blends perfectly into its environment.

Rooms at Nawelpi Lodge

Created with natural materials of wood and stone, the 12 rustic-chic suites are elevated above the ground, encompassed by the surrounding rainforest, offering true peace and seclusion amongst the trees, the birds and the clear night skies. They are spacious and have plenty of character, including wooden-beamed ceilings and lamps made from tree branches. The bathrooms have whirlpool tubs to guarantee relaxation, and there are private balconies for taking in the views.

Food & drink

The restaurant serves Chilean-Mapuche cuisine using locally-sourced foods in its fresh and flavourful dishes, including a buffet breakfast as well as lunch and dinner. The bar is open late - enjoy a drink and watch the sunset and night-time scenes from within the rainforest.

Facilities

You can access spa facilities nearby, including Jacuzzis, a sauna, a steam room and indoor and outdoor pools, or indulge in a massage - a perfect way to unwind after a day in the rainforest. There’s a lounge with a fireplace and a games room for a cosy night in, and even in the middle of the rainforest, Wi-Fi will keep you in touch with the outside world - if you want to, that is.

Activities at Nawelpi Lodge

Go horse riding through the rainforest, or if you would prefer a different mode of transport, bicycles are also on offer for you to cycle through the trees. Keen skiers can rent equipment from the lodge and head out to the mountains for the day. For something a bit more relaxed, you can also go fishing in one the many tranquil rivers or lakes, or go for a quiet hike to the nearby Salto de la Leona waterfall, a beautiful and serene spot.
