Hotel Overview

Sense of Place

Villa Bahia is in Pelourinho, in Salvador's historic centre.

Rooms at Villa Bahia

Each room is named individually after landmarks of the Portuguese kingdoms of old. They have high ceilings and wooden floors, and come with four-poster beds, antique chairs, old-fashioned lamps and homespun patchwork quilts, alongside vibrant colours, create plenty of character, and they all have private balconies.

Food & Drink

The high-ceilinged ground-floor restaurant, with its tall windows and whitewashed walls, serves fresh seafood, deliciously cooked in local style.

Facilities

As well as a swimming pool, the villa has a reading room, two garden courtyards and a lovely roof terrace with views over the historic Pelourinho district.

Activities at Villa Bahia

Wandering the streets of bustling Pelourinho is an activity in itself, with churches, museums, samba schools and capoeira classes all just minutes away from the hotel. You should also check out the local restaurants, as well as bars where you can enjoy drinks accompanied by live music - the perfect way to end the day in Salvador.
