Breakfast entails a hearty spread of fresh fruit, pastries, and Mesopotamian specialities such as chipa cheese buns.

The hotel’s outdoor pool, shaded by mango trees, is a lovely spot perfect for cooling off in the afternoon sun. The beautiful old library is a cosy, inviting space, with entire walls taken up with all manner of books and volumes, and comfy leather armchairs for you to sink into and read them.

Many of the city’s cultural attractions are within a short walk from the hotel, including the Santa Rita de Casia church and the Plaza Juan de Vera; a walk along the costanera waterfront is an unbeatable way to get a feel for the atmosphere of the city.
