Hotel Overview

Sense of Place

In a beautiful secluded reserve at the top of the Cordoba hills in central Argentina.

Rooms at Estancia Los Potreros

The seven bedrooms are traditional yet comfortable, with individual flourishes, antiques, private bathrooms and open log fires. Estancia Los Potreros also has a separate cottage with three rooms and a one suite cottage with two bedrooms, ideal for families or small groups of friends.

Food and Drink

The Estancia Los Potreros chef makes all meals on-site using organic, home-grown vegetables and home reared beef from its working cattle ranch.  Meals are essentially European in style with a hint of local cuisine, and meals are eaten ‘family style’ with all guests sitting down together.  There’s even an estancia Los Potreros ‘own label’ Argentine wine to accompany your food.

Facilities

The estancia holds a polo field where guests can play as well as an outdoor swimming pool.

Activities at Estancia Los Potreros

Guests are positively encouraged to feel part of the farm with the main activity being horse riding.  There is a mix of Criollos, polo ponies and Paso Peruanos in a herd of over 80 well-loved riding horses, and with the multitude of excellent trails there are countless opportunities to enjoy the wonderful views, hidden rock pools and local wildlife. Once a week there is also the chance for guests to try their hand at polo, while further afield there are three excellent golf courses, world class dove shooting, mountain biking, and even paragliding.
