Hotel Overview

Sense of place

The hotel is the realisation of a long-held dream for owners Marcelo and Paula, who imbue the place with a sense of warmth and homeliness. Marcelo grew up here and went to school just round the corner, so he knows the area like the back of his hand and can answer any questions you might have.

Rooms at Mine Hotel

The rooms pay homage to the natural world, with an extensive use of organic materials such as rough stonework in the walls; the colour scheme, of greys, whites and browns, is similarly earthy. Each of the rooms is different, but they share features such as rattan furnishings and Oriental-inspired light fittings.

Food & Drink

Only breakfast is served here, but it’s a delicious and varied affair. In particular, an ever-changing kaleidoscope of tropical fruit features prominently, both in fresh form and blended into delicious smoothies. Breads and pastries are also available, as are more substantial cooked options. In the area around the hotel you’ll find no shortage of fantastic restaurants, including the famous steakhouses La Cabrera and Don Julio.

Facilities

The outdoor swimming pool is perfect for cooling off during the summer months. There’s also a cosy lounge area with a TV and huge, plush sofas, and a small library.

Activities at Mine Hotel

Palermo Soho is Buenos Aires’ most fashionable locale, and the hotel’s location is perfect for exploring it: there are numerous art galleries, boutiques and clothing stores within easy reach. If you want to watch or try your hand at some tango – and why wouldn’t you – nearby La Viruta is one of the city’s most famous milongas. La Bombonera and El Monumental – the homes of famous football teams Boca Juniors and River Plate – are also both nearby.
